Alone: Chapter One
After the war with the fire nation had finally been put to end, Fire Lord Ozai had been killed, and the riots slowed down the Gaang came to a conclusion. They would separate and go their separate ways.
Katara wanted to go back to the southern Water Tribe to see what she could do to help rebuild her once powerful nation. She also wanted to see Gran Gran and Pakku again. She would also become the tribes water bending master and teach the younger children how to waterbend, returning their forgotten culture to them.
Sokka would go to the northern water tribe. He was pronounced the heir to the throne when the chief died in battle. Han objected but was quickly shut up. If you know what I mean. After he found out Suki had died he gave up on girls (or so he thought).
Zuko would return to the Fire nation with his uncle. Iroh would become the new Fire Lord while Zuko would study under him and become ready for his uncles position when Iroh either retired or passed into the spirit world. Him and Katara would keep in touch through letters due to the fact they had been boyfriend and girlfriend since they took down the Ozai. (much to Sokka’s dismay).
Toph was going to go back to her parents home in Gaoling. Her parents had sent letters apologizing and asking her to return home. Suitors would start coming because she was now of marrying age. She would start teaching the Earth Academy because the old teacher ran into some… problems. Toph didn’t want to go home at first, but when she learned that she would be able to teach at the school due to the masters disappearance she rolled on the ground laughing and agreed (while the rest of the group stared at her).
Aang along with doing Avatar business would search for the airbenders or he would teach new born children the ways of air. The way the sky bison’s taught the air nomads a long time ago.  Aang realized after Katara and Zuko got together that his crush on Katara had to end. Eventually he got over it and started looking around at other girls. He looked at Toph, his stubborn earth bending teacher, he liked her more and more. Until one day it hit him he loved Toph. He was worried she would find someone else in Gaoling. He was going to tell her that night after they landed and got unpacked.
Appa landed on a cleared area next to a small canyon, a small and large pond, that was surrounded by a forest. Zuko would be dropped off in the Fire nation capital tomorrow. Then Toph in Gaoling the next day. His time was running out. Katara had started to pull out the big pot for stew when…
“FOOD!!!!” Sokka yelled out.
“ Yes, Sokka food we know you don’t need to scream.” Katara yelled right back.
“If he gets 3 meals a day why is he always in need of more?” Zuko asked quizzically.
Katara just giggled and returned to her cooking. Throwing in veggie’s and herbs remembering Aang was a vegetarian.
“I am going to take a long walk. I will be out late so don’t expect me for dinner.” Toph announced to the group.
“No.. Toph this is one of our last nights together. We should be spending some time together… as friends and family” Katara yelled.
“I’m not really hungry, so just save me some leftovers” Toph recoiled.
“Toph… please” Katara begged.
“NO!!!!!.. Just leave me alone Katara” Toph demanded. While stomping off towards the ponds.
“Toph are you ok” Sokka and Zuko said in unison.
They had become her two, big, protective, older brothers. They stuck up for her. Though she always demanded that she cold take care of herself, they always looked out for her. Made sure nothing got in the way of their baby sister. They both started to get up to follow her.

“Leave her” Katara said giving up.
Toph’s  P.O.V.
I walked a while trying to figure out how I was going to fight away the suitors. I found a pond. Not too big but not to small it was the perfect size to quickly take a bath. Just to clean up. I took of my outer clothing leaving my bra and underwear. I slowly submerge into the fairly shallow pond.
I couldn’t “see”. The ripples in the water were messing up the vibrations. I completely cleared my mind. Allowing me for the first time in a while to relax. I took off my green headband and allowed my long hair flow freely in the lukewarm water.
Aang’s P.O.V.
It was getting late. My thoughts drifted to Toph. Her laugh, her dirty feet, and her strength. Toph wasn’t back I forgot she was gone. Sokka was sleeping, Zuko was grabbing a few more pieces of firewood, and Katara was cleaning up from the stew. If there ever was a time to sneak off to find Toph this was it. I slowly crept off into the night hoping not to draw any unwanted attention.
I walked in the direction Toph stomped off in. In the distance I heard water splashing. I walked quickly in the direction the noise came from. As soon as it came into perspective I saw someone bathing. She sure was beautiful too.
“Who are you?” I asked.
